@ 2016  by Karen Hibbert

I have been interested in Photography for as long as I can remember.  In 2004/05 I was lucky enough to travel round the world for a year.  I visited 5 continents, 17 different countries and sent home 77 postcards.  Whilst I was away I realised that most of the things I did revolved around taking photographs.  So, when I returned I enrolled into an HND course in Photography.

I still enjoy visiting new places. Also, living in the very photogenic Edinburgh, for the past 8 years, has given me the opportunity to take images closer to home.  I like to spend my time in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh which gives me lots of chances to use my macro lens on the fabulous flowers and bees.

If you have any questions please email me.  See the Contact Page for details.   Or you can contact my Facebook page, from the link at the top.

** If I have named any of the flowers incorrectly - just let me know!  I'm not a botanist and have now started taking notes at the time.
